Your participation

The homogeneous catalysis community is the key to our success in reproducibility. There are three different ways for individuals to be involved that will provide the most community input.

The in-person work shop is January 5-7, 2026. There will be an application for the limited number of spaces, opening in late August.

Because space is limited, we will host a live discussion for interested parties to weigh-in on key issues and inform the conversation on site as well as the report content.

Fall webinars will highlight some of the challenges for the field as well as success stories. Comments and responses will be collected to inform the workshop.

In-person participation

The workshop is January 5-7, 2026.

Efforts at the Workshop center on identifying reproducibility challenges in the area of homogeneous catalysis, broadly defined. Participants will provide recommendations to better understand and/or mitigate these issues as well as provide recommendations for opportunities in research and education in the area. Workshop outcomes and recommendations will be forward thinking, supporting continued leadership of US researchers, companies, and educators in homogeneous catalysis.

Participants will be selected by application appearing in late August and have transportation, accommodation, and on-site costs covered by NSF funding.

To participate, a selected individual must agree to the following:

1. Be present and actively participate for the entire workshop as scheduled.

2. Actively participate in the subsequent workshop report through writing, editing, or both.

3. Adhere to the ethical standards of the workshop that create an environment for robust, safe discourse where all contributions are heard and valued.
